Sanctuary of San Luca, Bologna
I made my first drone flight here, around six in the evening. As the drone climbed, the sanctuary, the hills and the city appeared on the screen.
It was evocative and thrilling: that is when I realised I wanted to show other people the world from up there too.

From above you can clearly see how the river has shaped the plain around it, between embankments, trees and fields.

Seen from above, the yellow and red treetops become a carpet of colour that you can't see from the ground.
Whitehaven Beach, Whitsundays (Australia)
We went to Australia on our honeymoon. Flying over the Whitsundays was magical: a sea like no other and sand so soft it felt like walking on a cushion.
Seagulls and eagles kept me company – luckily, peaceful ones.
Bondi Beach, Sydney (Australia)

In Sydney you can't fly everywhere: the harbour in front of the Opera House is a no-fly zone, and there the drone stayed in my backpack.
